When mould proliferates, it releases spores into the air, which can result in a variety of health issues. These include respiratory problems, allergic reactions, and even more severe health conditions, particularly for sensitive individuals or those with pre-existing respiratory conditions.
In this course, we will explore the relationship between IAQ and mould. You will gain an in-depth understanding of how mould spreads through the air, the potential risks associated with airborne mould, and, most importantly, effective containment strategies that prevent the spread of spores to uncontaminated areas.
We will focus on mould remediation processes designed to protect IAQ, as well as provide strategies for minimising the airborne transmission of spores. By the end of this course, you will be well-equipped to handle IAQ issues related to mould, making you better prepared to work in a safe and effective manner during mould remediation projects.
