Indicators of Mould in Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
Elevated spore levels compared to outdoor air
Musty or earthy smells, usually caused by microbial volatile organic compounds (MVOCs)
Visible staining or discolouration on walls, ceilings, or soft materials

Mould cannot be properly removed with surface cleaning alone. Effective IAQ remediation requires identifying and fixing the moisture source, removing contaminated materials, and confirming that air quality has returned to safe levels.
