With extensive research and trial and error, Josh now can explain in detail the inner workings of this fascinating industry.

Risk Management is one of the most important aspects within an organisation. It is a LEGAL obligation under the Workplace Health and Safety Act that all staff are trained to manage WHS risks.
Hazard Prevention and Control is the fundamental component behind risk management. Prior to this occurring, the hazards must be identified and followed by evaluating the associated risks.

Hazards are present in all workplaces and can lead to injuries and illness. The severity of these illnesses and injuries can vary. These hazards can lead to lost productivity, increased costs, along with suffering for employees.
Hazards need to be identified and assessed for the associated risks. A risk matrix is often used to determine if the chosen control measures are appropriate. The likelihood and consequences will need to be determined.

CARSI’s Risk Assessment Course aims to improve the participant’s awareness and knowledge on managing risks. The objectives of this course are to:
- Increase awareness of the need to identify hazards
- Improve the ability to identify hazards within the workplace
- Increase understanding of how to evaluate hazards and the associated risks
- Increase the understanding of the hierarchy of controls
- And more.

CARSI aims to increase recognition and value for your expertise. We believe in challenging the cleaning and restoration industry by providing resources and information in a flexible environment.
