Risk Assessment Course

Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) refers to the legislation, policies, procedures, and activities that aim to protect the health, safety, and welfare of all people at the workplace.

This legislation requires that an organisation should have documented procedures managing Workplace Health and Safety risks. This includes identifying hazards, assessing risks, and controlling risks. All employees will need to be trained appropriately.

Our Risk Assessment Course gives students an in depth understanding on:

  • Hazard Identification
  • Risk Assessment
  • Control Measures
  • And More!

Professional Carpet Cleaning and Restorers Podcast

The  Professional Carpet Cleaners and Restorers Podcast (PCCRP) is new in the industry discussing informative information without offering advice  that could be construed to be misleading, discouraging, malicious, and outside our professional knowledge and experience.

Trauma Cleaning, Biohazard Cleaning, Unattended Deaths, Sharps, Squalor, and Hoard Clean-ups, have you heard of these services?

Josh Marsden runs the most Networked and Trained group of specialty cleaners in Australia. Josh started by accident approx. 15 years ago as a cleaning business owner and soon was asked to clean a “Gross Filth” property. With no knowledge at the time and with a basic understanding of chemicals and ozone, Josh accepted the job, and the rest is history. With extensive research and trial and error, Josh now can explain in detail the inner workings of this fascinating industry.

We catch up with Josh this week and listen to some of the stories and see what makes a “Forensic Cleaner”.

Our Co-Host this week is Josh Marsden of Australian Forensic Cleaning & Meth Lab Cleaners Australia.

Health and Safety Training

Risk Management is one of the most important aspects within an organisation. It is a LEGAL obligation under the Workplace Health and Safety Act that all staff are trained to manage WHS risks.

Hazard Prevention and Control is the fundamental component behind risk management. Prior to this occurring, the hazards must be identified and followed by evaluating the associated risks.

Hazard Training

Hazards are present in all workplaces and can lead to injuries and illness. The severity of these illnesses and injuries can vary. These hazards can lead to lost productivity, increased costs, along with suffering for employees.

Hazards need to be identified and assessed for the associated risks. A risk matrix is often used to determine if the chosen control measures are appropriate. The likelihood and consequences will need to be determined.
