## What is CARSI?

CARSI is Australia's leading online training platform for cleaning, restoration and indoor-air-quality professionals maintaining their IICRC certifications. We serve 12+ industries including healthcare, hospitality, government, mining, commercial cleaning, and restoration, with Australian-produced courses spanning water and fire restoration, mould and IAQ, biosecurity awareness (including the 2026 H5 avian-influenza course for restoration and facility professionals), and business operations. Our platform provides IICRC CEC Accredited courses across water damage restoration, structural drying, mould and microbial remediation, fire and smoke restoration, odour control, and carpet and textile cleaning.

## CARSI Course Topics

These are CARSI's own subject areas. They are named in plain English and carry no IICRC
designation acronym. CARSI is accredited as an IICRC CEC provider. Where an individual course
has been approved by the IICRC, that course displays its approved CEC hours on its own page;
where it has not, no CEC figure is shown.

### Water Damage Restoration
Water damage assessment, extraction, structural drying, and moisture monitoring. For flood and
water damage restoration professionals.

Drying techniques for structural materials including timber, concrete, and insulation, grounded

## About the IICRC

The IICRC — the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification — awards its own
certifications through its approved schools and examinations. CARSI is not one of those schools
and does not deliver or award IICRC certification.

CARSI's standing with the IICRC is as an accredited CEC provider: an existing certificate holder
can use approved CARSI courses toward the continuing education required to maintain the
certification they already hold.

CARSI's own courses are named for their subject, never for an IICRC designation or its acronym,
and CARSI issues its own credentials — the CARSI Southern Hemisphere Restoration Designations.

CARSI provides IICRC CEC Accredited continuing education but is not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
CARSI issues its own CARSI Southern Hemisphere Restoration Designations, not nationally accredited VET qualifications. A course awards IICRC Continuing Education Credits (CECs) only where the IICRC has approved that specific course; do not state or imply that any given CARSI course carries CECs without that per-course approval.

- Method: POST /api/contact (declarative via form annotation on /contact)
- Purpose: Submit a contact enquiry to CARSI. Routes to support@carsi.com.au for human follow-up. Use for course questions, membership enquiries, certification queries, or general support.

- Method: GET /credentials/{id}
- Purpose: Public credential verification — anyone (or any agent) can verify a CARSI-awarded IICRC CEC certificate is genuine by visiting the public credential page for its ID.
- Parameters:
  - id (string, required) — credential ID printed on the certificate

### Future agent surfaces (roadmap)

- `enrol_in_course` (authenticated) — once a learner is signed in, agents may enrol them in a course on their instruction
- `request_cec_quote` — group + corporate quote requests for multi-seat training

- CARSI is **professional continuing education (CECs)**, NOT a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Cannot award nationally accredited VET qualifications.
