HEAR WHAT BRAD HAD TO SAY.…

Dur­ing our quick con­ver­sa­tion with Brad, he empha­sised the chal­lenges he believes the indus­try faces in terms of staff recruit­ment, train­ing and reten­tion.
He strong­ly believes that a strong indus­try asso­ci­a­tion is cru­cial because it ensures high qual­i­ty work, encour­ages busi­ness­es to exceed expec­ta­tions and plays a piv­otal role in keep­ing indus­try prac­tices up to date.
Brad also men­tioned that one of his sig­nif­i­cant inno­va­tions, has been using tech­nolo­gies con­tin­u­ous devel­op­ment to stream­line his dai­ly oper­a­tions, espe­cial­ly with account­ing sys­tems and back-office tasks.
Fur­ther­more, Brad expressed his enthu­si­asm for con­tin­u­ous learn­ing by attend­ing the RIA con­fer­ence and Tradeshow. He par­tic­u­lar­ly enjoyed explor­ing tech­ni­cal top­ics, attend­ing great pre­sen­ta­tions and gain­ing valu­able insights see­ing the world through the eyes of a con­trac­tor.

WHAT IS THE RIA?

The Restora­tion Indus­try Asso­ci­a­tion (RIA) is an inter­na­tion­al trade asso­ci­a­tion that rep­re­sents and serves the restora­tion and clean­ing indus­try. RIA is ded­i­cat­ed to pro­mot­ing and advanc­ing the knowl­edge, pro­fes­sion­al­ism, and exper­tise of restora­tion and clean­ing pro­fes­sion­als. It pro­vides resources, edu­ca­tion, cer­ti­fi­ca­tion pro­grams, and net­work­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties to its mem­bers, who include con­trac­tors, con­sul­tants, and oth­er pro­fes­sion­als involved in dis­as­ter restora­tion, envi­ron­men­tal reme­di­a­tion, and clean­ing ser­vices. RIA plays a cru­cial role in set­ting indus­try stan­dards, fos­ter­ing best prac­tices, and advo­cat­ing for the inter­ests of its mem­bers in the restora­tion indus­try.
